SRMJEEE 2020 Application Form Online

The SRMJEEE application form is available online and can be downloaded from the website. Candidates must download the form from the website and fill it accordingly. The application form is available on the website from 27th of October 2019 to 31st of March 2020. When filling the form online, candidates must have the required documents in hand.

SRMJEEE 2020 Entrance Exam In-depth Details

The candidates are required to self-attest the documents before scanning and uploading. The required documents include your class 10th and 12th mark sheets, passport size photograph, and signature.

The application form fee is INR 1100/- which can be paid through both online and offline mode (Demand Draft). The DD has to be drawn in favor of SRMIST payable at Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria to be able to appear for the SRMJEEE. Here are the eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE.

Nationality

Only Indian, NRI (Non-Resident Indian), PIO or OCI candidates are eligible.

Age

Candidates applying for the UG courses should have a DOB between 1st July 1997 and 1st July 2002.

SRMJEEE 2020 Educational Qualification

For B. Tech (All Courses)

  • Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) pattern from any state board in India or CBSE or Matriculation or ISCE or NIOS with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks (for admission into Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani campuses) and at least 55% aggregate marks (for admission into Delhi NCR campus) in PCM subjects.
  • Candidates appearing for their Senior Secondary Examination or 12th Equivalent exam can also apply.
  • For candidates from international schools in India, they must have passed the International Baccalaureate (IB) A-level examination with PCM as their main subjects.

For Biotechnology, Biomedical and Genetic Engineering B. Tech

  • Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) pattern from any state board in India or CBSE or Matriculation or ISCE or NIOS with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their main subjects.

SRMJEEE 2020 Pattern

The exam pattern of SRMJEEE is as follows:

  • The SRMJEEE 2020 will be conducted online
  • The question paper will be in the English Language
  • The Exam duration will be of 2.5 hrs with a total of 105 questions
  • The Questions will be MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • The exam will cover Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology of the Senior Secondary level
  • Each correct answer will award 3 marks
  • There is No Negative Marking
  • There will be 35 questions in 3 sections each covering a specific subject. 35 from Physics, 35 from Chemistry, 35 from Mathematics/Biology

SRMJEEE 2020 Slot Booking

To facilitate the candidates in choosing an exam date and time which suits their convenience, candidates can book their exam slots and choose a particular exam center and date as to their preference, subject to availability. The Slot booking will take place in the first week of April through online mode and will be done on a first come first serve basis.

Candidates must use their email ID and password to login and book their slots.

Candidates can then download their SRMJEEE 2020 admit cards from the website after the successfully booking their slot for the examination date and place.

Candidates are directed to bring a valid identity proof that has their photograph and DOB along with the valid admit card at the exam center.

SRMJEEE 2020 Results

The SRMJEEE results will be announced online on the website in the first week of May 2020. The result will also be sent to the registered email ID and phone number of the candidates.

A merit list will be published by the University based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination.

SRMJEEE 2020 Counselling

After the declaration of results, candidates will be called for SRMJEEE counseling based on the Merit list.

Counseling session will consist of 1 to 2 rounds depending on the availability of vacant seats. Candidates must download their call letter to be able to appear for the counseling process.

During counseling, candidates are required to choose their choice of branch of study; subject to availability.

After the counseling process is completed, University will issue a provisional admission letter to candidates to confirm their admission to the University.

  • Cover the important areas before moving on to solving questions
  • Make sure that you thoroughly study the NCERT textbooks and other study materials
