Required Criteria for Eligibility of AP PGECET 2025:

PG Professional Courses:

Qualification:
Candidates must have completed the BE / B.Tech / AMIE for M.Tech, and should have qualified B.Pharmacy from any recognised college for M.Pharmacy candidates.
Percentage Criteria:
For admission in engineering & pharmacy courses, students must have secured 50% marks for general and 45% marks for reserved categories.

Graduate Level Pharm-D course:
Nationality & Domicile: The candidate must be the citizen of India and must hold the domicile of Andhra Pradesh/ Andhra Pradesh.
Qualification: Students should hold B.Pharmacy degree approved by Pharmacy Council of India.

AP PGECET 2025 Qualifying Examination:

They should have obtained a valid Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the related field from an AICTE / UGC approved institution recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent for admission to the valid M.Tech./M.Pharma with at least 50 percent marks (45 per cent for reserved category candidates). For relevant certification information please refer to booklet instructions.
Applicants seeking B.Tech or their equivalent / B.Pharm.course are eligible for admission to M.Tech./M.Pharma. Courses provided they have completed the prescribed course and passed all the subjects on or before the date of admission to the respective colleges for admission to the university concerned.
Medium of Instruction at Qualifying Exam: Enter the medium of instruction at the
qualifying examination (diploma or degree as applicable).
SSC or Equivalent (10th Class): Candidate should select Urban or Rural location
where he pursued his 10th class study, Enter the SSC (10th class) or Equivalent Hall
Ticket No., Month of Passing and Year of Passing.
Intermediate or Equivalent (10+2):Candidate should select Urban or Rural location
where he pursued his 10+2 classes of study.Enter the Intermediate / 10+2 or Equivalent
Hall Ticket No., Month of Passing and Year of Passing [if applicable] Places of Study: The candidate has to select the district name from the drop down
values related to his study for each year starting form Class-10 to
Intermediate/Diploma/Degree, MCA / M.Sc. However, if a candidate has studied in a
state other than Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, thenselect OTHER STATE. If studied
outside India, select OTHER COUNTRY.
Local Area: Based on the places of study during the preceding 7 years of the
qualifying examination, local area is decided.
• The part of the State comprising the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram,
Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam
shall be regarded as the AU Local Area
• The part of the State Comprising the districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor,
Cuddapah and Nellore shall be regarded as the SVU Local Area
• If the places of study fall in districts of Telangana State, it shall be regarded as
OU local area.
On entering the candidate’s places of study, local area of the candidate is auto
populated by the application system i.e. AU, SVU, OU or NL.
• Candidates who studied for more than 4 years in other states of India and whose
parents are residing in State of Andhra Pradesh or Telanganafor a period of 10
years or whose parents are employed in State or Central or quasi Government
organizations at the time of applying for the CET shall be considered as Non
Local
• Candidates who have completely studied in other states of India (other than AP
and Telangana)and whose parents are not residents of Andhra Pradesh or
Telangana will come under the category of Other State. Their admission into the
colleges is subject to the orders in vogue at the time of admission.
• However,these credentials will be verified based on the certificates produced at
the time of admission.
