Candidates must give high efforts for exam preparations. Reserve Bank of India selects the candidates analyzing their performance in the written test. The candidates need to appear the exam in two phases, i.e., Prelims and Mains. The candidates will be eligible to appear the Mains after clearing the Prelims.
RBI Grade B 2018 Exam Pattern for Prelim and Mains exams
You must have an idea about the exam pattern for good preparation. You must collect information about the type of questions, subjects, and exam duration. For the prelims, you need to prepare for General Awareness (80), English Language (30), Reasoning (60) and Quantitative Aptitude (30). You will face 200 questions of 200 marks.

If you qualify for the second or Mains exam, you must get prepared for Economic and Social Issues which will be of objective type, while the English Language is of descriptive type and Finance and Management/Economics/Statistics of objective type. 100 marks are the maximum you can score in each paper, and you will get 90 minutes to answer each paper.
Apart from the preparations, you will have to carry certain documents to the examination hall on the exam date. The documents include Admit Card, Photo-Identity Card and Address Proof. The documents are for validation purpose, and the Examiner collects the valid documents that help to find out fake candidates. RBI will release one Admit Card for the prelim stage and another Admit Card for the candidates qualified for the Mains stage.
